At Tobacco Product Expo (TPE) 2023, Patina Cigars will begin taking pre-orders on the Patina Anniversary cigar. This is not only Patina’s first limited edition cigar but it’s also the first Connecticut Broadleaf cigar. The company said the Patina Anniversary Limited Edition should start shipping to retailers in the March/April 2023 timeframe.
In addition to the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, the blend features a Mexican San Andres binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and U.S. fillers. The cigar comes in one size – a 6 x 52 Toro. It is presented in ten-count boxes with a total production of 500 boxes. Each individual box will be sequentially numbered. Production comes from Nicaragua American Cigars SA (NACSA)in Estelí, Nicaragua. Pricing is set at $20.00 per cigar.
A statement from Mo Maali of Patina Cigars says, “Our strategy from the beginning has been to build Patina’s core line offerings. However, sometimes you have to stop and celebrate certain milestones and I felt five years was a good time to release our first LE.”
“This is our first go with a CT (Connecticut) broadleaf wrapped cigar and I couldn’t be more excited to share our creation. Thank you to all of the consumers, retailers, Raul Disla, Gus Cura, Ninoska Olivas, and the entire NACSA team for making it possible,:” added Maali.
TPE 2023 takes place from February 22nd, 2023 through February 24th, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
