General Cigar Company has announced the Cohiba Serie M is returning for 2023 in a new sie. The Cohiba Serie M is the first Cohiba to be produced to be produced in the United States. This year the 2023 edition of the Cohiba Serie M will be a 7 x 50 Prominente. The new size will reach retailers in April.
The Cohiba Serie M is a collaboration between General Cigar Company and the El Titan de Bronze factory. It was first released in 2021 in a Toro size. In 2022 the cigar was released in a Corona Gorda size.
The blend features a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper – the first time that leaf has been used on a Cohiba cigar. The binder is from Nicaragua. The fillers contain leaves from two regions of Nicaragua (Jalapa and Estelí) and also contain some Dominican Piloto Cubano tobacco. The Prominente’s pricing is set at $29.99 per cigar or $299.99 per box.
In a press release, Sean Williams, brand ambassador for Cohiba said, “Now entering its third year, Cohiba Serie M continues to captivate the premium cigar category. This brand has all the makings of a connoisseur’s cigar: it harnesses the collective blending expertise of El Titán de Bronze with the mastery of the Cohiba team and encapsulates some of the finest cigar making techniques in one cigar. Together with Sandy Cobas, we’re proud to release the blend in a new size, giving cigar connoisseurs another opportunity to experience the artistry of Cohiba Serie M.”
