At Total Product Expo (TPE) 2023, Jake Wyatt Cigar Co. would introduce its latest line, the J.W. Maverick. This is a cigar that is meant to deliver a stronger and fuller-bodied experience into the Jake Wyatt portfolio.

The J.W. Maverick gets its name from co-owner Gerard Abajian‘s son. It is preceded by the initials which are the company name (and also the names of the sons of co-owners Neil Garcia and Abajian).  As for the cigar, it features a San Andres Maduro wrapper over a Corojo binder and fillers consisting of Pennsylvania Broadleaf, Criollo, and Piloto Cubano tobaccos. Production comes from Casamorabo Tabacalera in the Dominican Republic.

Jake Wyatt Cigar Co is following a strategy it has used in the past, most notably with the Lithium. It is doing a soft launch in one size now, with a full release down the line in other sizes. Currently, Jake Wyatt is releasing the J.W. Maverick in a 6 x 54 Toro. The cigars are packaged in ten-count bundles. The company is only releasing 200 bundles of the Toro size at this time. Pricing is set at $100.00 per bundle.

An April ship date is planned for the Jake Wyatt J.W. Maverick.
