Amendola Family Cigar Company has now announced its latest release, “The West Side Story” is now shipping to retailers. This is a cigar that was launched earlier this year at Total Product Expo (TPE) 2023.

The West Side Story is the first release in Amendola’s NYC Series, which is a series of cigars that pay homage to the New York City roots of co-owners Jeffrey Amendola and Christopher Monaco. The West Side Story feature two different blends in the same box that were inspired by the iconic movie that takes place in New York City. Switch Blades is a blend highlighted by a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper while Baseball Bats features a Mexican San Andres wrapper. Each cigar is a 6 x 52 Torpedo. The cigars are being rolled at the Martinez Cigar Factory located in Manhattan.

Coinciding with the launch, Amendola and Monaco are doing four launch events in New York City over the course of three days:

4/13: Merchants’ Cigar Bar; Manhattan
4/14: Barclay Rex; Manhattan
4/15: Harry’s Habana Hut; Bayside, Queens
4/15: South Shore Cigar Club; Brightwaters, Long Island
