At the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Quesada Cigars will introduce the 2023 edition of its seasonal release, the Quesada Oktoberfest.
Back in 2011, Quesada Cigars introduced its Oktoberfest line. The intent of this line was for Quesada to deliver a cigar blend that could be paired with your favorite malt beverage. This is an annual limited-edition line that has been released in an assortment of different sizes, an assortment of different blends, and even made in different countries (Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.)
“This will be our third year developing the known Quesada Oktoberfest blend with beautiful Mexican, San Andres wrapper. People have loved this combination, and we really enjoy the pairing with the tobaccos used, commented Manuel Quesada in a press release.
Hector Becerra, National Sales Manager added: “This year we will have an additional size. We wanted to make it very special, so we are bringing back our Salomon Press for this 2023 edition, very limited production and exclusively for events. This cigar is unique, collectable, and blends perfectly with this year edition. The Salomon Press size is a patent of ours and a great addition to the Quesada line [sic].”
The Salomon Press is a unique size first introduced in 2014 with the Quesada 40th Anniversary line. The cigar measuring 6 3/4 x 50 is pressed in the center, but rounded on the edges with tapering near the middle and ends. It was an event-only size with the Oktoberfest 2014 line, and once again will be used in the same size for events. It will be priced at $14.00 per cigar.
Other sizes featured include the Uber (6 x 65, MSRP $11.80), Das Boot (6 x 52, MSRP $11.00), and Bavarian (5 1/2 x 52, $10.80) – each presented in ten-count boxes. In addition to the Mexican San Andrés wrapper, the remainder of the blend is all-Dominican. As in the past, the Oktoberfest is a single production run for the year.
The 2023 PCA Trade Show opens July 7, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
