A third installment is coming to Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Company’s “The Oscar” line in the form of a Connecticut Shade-wrapped cigar. The Oscar Connecticut is set to make its debut at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show and will join the current Oscar Habano and Oscar Maduro offerings.

The Oscar Connecticut features a Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Honduran binder and a combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars will be presented in 11-count boxes. The Oscar Connecticut is being launched in three sizes: Robusto, Toro, and Sixty (6 x 60). Depending on size, pricing ranges from $11.80 to $14.00 SRP. Like the Habano and Maduro installments, the Oscar will feature a Candela sleeve that goes up from the footer to the band area. The bands and inside of the box of The Oscar Connecticut use a darker hue of blue than the Habano and Robusto. The box itself is also painted in blue.

It was back in 2016 when The Oscar Habano made its debut. This was followed up in 2017 with The Oscar Maduro.

The 2023 PCA Trade Show opens July 7th, 2023 in Las Vegas Nevada.
