On the eve of the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Founders Cigar Company announced it has entered into a distributorship agreement with Don Doroteo Cigars. The agreement will focus on warehousing and fulfillment for Don Doroteo Cigars.

Don Doroteo Cigars owned by Juan Lugo. They produce their cigars at the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic. Don Doroteo’s story dates back to 1936 when Juan’s grandfather, Doroteo Fermin Delgado decided to follow in his late father’s footsteps, by growing tobacco in the heart of Santiago, Dominican Republic. This included growing tobacco for La Aurora. Don Doroteo made its debut at the 2022 PCA Trade Show as Juan decided to launch his brand, producing cigars at La Aurora and using some of the tobaccos from their own farm in the brands.

The move gives Don Doroteo a more centralized location in the United States to fulfill orders and handle all distribution needs.

Founders Cigars also debuted at the 2022 PCA Trade Show, and according to Angelo Fraboni, Co-Founder of Founders Cigar Co: “We are excited to announce the launch of “Founders Fulfillment officially.” This is such a great opportunity to begin our distributorship with a brand as historied as Juan’s. Garret Robinson, their Vice President of Sales, is local to us here in Minnesota, which is great. The PCA Trade Show opens today (July 7, 2023) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
