The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show and Convention is heading back to New Orleans in 2025 for the first time in a decade. The show dates will be April 11-14, 2025 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

New Orleans has hosted several PCA Trade Shows in the past. The last one that took place in New Orleans was in 2015. One reason why the PCA had moved away from New Orleans is because of a comprehensive smoking ban that was enacted in the city, although there were some amendments enacted to allow the show to go on.

Since 2015, the PCA Trade Show has taken place in Las Vegas. While the general consensus is the industry and the PCA would like to keep the show in Las Vegas, two factors have come into play. First, the PCA’s move of the Trade Show to the spring timeframe has been received quite well. Three of the Big Four companies (Altadis, Drew Estate, and Scandinavian Tobacco Group) that have or plan to return to the Trade Show have cited the move of dates as a reason. Second, the PCA has ended its relationship with the Venetian Expo Center, a long-time host of the Trade Show.  While 2024 will see a springtime show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, this option wasn’t available in 2025.

No plans on where the 2026 Trade Show will be have been announced.
