HVC Cigars is introducing the Hot Cake Maduro Half Corona. This will be a new offering under the HVC Hot Cake Maduro line. The new size will become the fifth regular production size of the HVC Hot Cake Maduro to be offered. Plans are for the new size to ship to retailers in December.
Like the rest of the line, the Hot Cake Maduro Half Corona features a San Andres-grown wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler. According to company President Reinier Lorenzo, the Hot Cake Maduro blend was tweaked to accommodate for the Half Corona size. Production comes from HVC’s factory, Fabrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The Half Corona will be presented in 25-count boxes. Pricing is set at $4.80 per cigar.
Because cigar enthusiasts who smoke outside during the winter months have to deal with the colder weather, the Half Corona size provides an option to enjoy a shorter duration smoke.
“It is a size I personally enjoy when taking a quick break from my routine to relax and recharge,” commented Lorenzo in an announcement for the new size.
