Plasencia Year of the Dragon

Plasencia Cigars has announced its fourth Chinese Zodiac cigar, the Plasencia Year of the Dragon.

Produced at the Plasencia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Plasencia Year of the Dragon is a Nicaraguan puro consisting of tobaccos from the various Plasencia farms throughout the country. The cigar is a 6 1/2 x 54 torpedo. The cigars come in ten-count boxes. There is a total production of 3,000 boxes worldwide. Pricing is set at $45.00 SRP per cigar.

In a press release, Plasencia Cigars CEO Nestor Andres Plasencia stated: “The dragon is an animal that perfectly represents our family’s drive for excellence. We look forward to celebrating the Chinese New Year with the public via this special offering.”

Other companies with Year of the Dragon-themed releases include Davidoff, Gurkha, Tabacalera(VegaFina), Oliva, Rocky Patel, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), and Maya Selva.
