At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Artista Cigars will launch its third blend under its eponymous line, the Artista Falu. The Artista Falu is described as a full-strength, full-bodied offering under Tabacalera El Artista’s premium line. Artista Falu gets its name from the red barns of Northern Europe and the United States.
“For the Artista lines we challenged ourselves to make something different. We spoke with our Factory Team and worked with our Agronomist. We asked them to seek new materials, source often over-looked tobaccos, and asked our best artisans to help us develop something wholly different,” commented Kevin Newman of Artista Cigars in a press release.
The blend features a Broadleaf wrapper, which the company describes as rich and toothy. The remainder of the blend incorporates an Indonesian binder over an undisclosed filler blend. Falu comes in two box-pressed sizes: Robusto and Toro. Both sizes are packaged in 20-count boxes. With pricing in the $10.20-$10.40 range, comparable to the Artista Harvest and Artista Midnight lines.
The 2024 PCA Trade Show opens March 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Artista Cigars is targeting shipping the Falu the first week in April.
