At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, HVC Cigars will introduce a Half Corona size to its Hot Cake Golden Line. The new size is a 3 1/2 x 44 offering presented in 25-count boxes.
The Half Corona is the fifth size in the Golden Line, which was introduced at the 2023 PCA Trade Show. The blend features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. HVC’s Fabrica de Tabacos HVC, S.A. produces the cigars. HVC Cigars says that some adjustments were made to the blend for this particular size. The Half Corona is priced at $4.80 per cigar.
Late last year, a Half Corona size was introduced into HVC’s original Hot Cake (Maduro) line.
The 2024 PCA Trade Show opens on March 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Hot Cake Golden Line Half Corona is expected to ship in April.
