PCA 2024 Espinosa

Guy Fieri was in attendance with Espinosa Cigars at the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show as he has been the last two years. Guy has partnered with Espinosa Cigars to produce the Knuckle Sandwich brand. Knuckle Sandwich cigars are produced and distributed by Espinosa Cigars. It’s been well-documented that Guy and Erik have changed the game in terms of celebrity-branded cigars, and our team got a chance to catch up with the dynamic duo.

This year at PCA 2024, Espinosa had three limited edition releases – all of which are annual staples in the Espinosa portfolio. First up is the Knuckle Sandwich 2024 Chef Special. This is the third installment of what has been an annual series to date. Produced at the San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, the 2024 Chef Special features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The cigar is a new size for the Chef Special series – a 6 x 54 Toro Oval. The 2024 Chef Special will retail at $16.00 SRP/cigar. It’s the third annual release of the Chef Special series.

Right before the Trade Show, Espinosa began shipping the tenth installment of the 601 La Bomba Warhead. At PCA itself, Espinosa took orders for what remained in inventory. For this installment, dubbed Warhead X, it is packaged in a large wall-mountable, gold-painted “bomb” containing ten cigars. Warhead is a box-pressed 6  x 55 Toro Oval, made with Nicaraguan fillers and binder and wrapped in a Broadleaf wrapper. This year’s run of Warhead X will be 5,000 boxes. The Warhead X will retail for $16 MSRP, with the ten-count box at $160. Production for Warhead X comes from the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.

Finally, there is the sixth installment of Las 6 Provincias, the ORT. ORT is an acronym for Oriente. Oriente was the easternmost of Cuba’s original six provinces. The Las 6 Provincias ORT is a box-pressed 6  x 56, made with Nicaraguan fillers and binder and wrapped in a Hybrid Habano Wrapper. As with each Las 6 Provincias series release, the ORT features a unique packaging design and associated artwork. In this case, the packaging is a unique flip-top box 20-count box. Production for ORT comes from the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.
