This year there weren’t million dollar ashtrays or lighters at the El Septimo Geneva booth at the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. At the same time, El Septimo had two new releases from each end of the pricing spectrum. There is the value-priced Culinary Arts Collection designed to introduce an affordable luxury product. On the other end, El Septimo showcased a limited edition cigar that will be one of its most expensive ones to daten.
The Culinary Arts Collection is a four-cigar collection pays homage to the legendary wine regions of France, Italy, Japan, and Spain. The line will range in price from $9.00 to $18.00, making it one of El Septimo’s more affordable cigar lines in its portfolio. Each of the four cigars in the Culinary Arts Collection use a Connecticut wrapper and come in 20 count boxes. The collection includes:
- Bordeaux (Gordo): 6 x 60 (SRP $18.00/cigar) – named for the famed wine region of France
- Toscana (Toro): 6 x 52 (SRP $15.00/cigar) – named for the famed wine region of Italy (Tuscany)
- Nigori (Corona Gorda): 6 x 46 (SRP $12.00/cigar) – named for Nigori Sake.
- Rioja (Robusto): 5 x 54 (SRP $9.00/cigar) – named for the famed Spanish wine region and wine.
On the ultra-premium side, El Septimo showcased Vartan the Dragon. This cigar comes in at a price point of $98.00 SRP. El Septimo has announced a new limited-edition cigar, Vartan the Dragon. The cigar pays homage to two people with the name Vartan: Armenian General Vartan (Vardan) Mamikonian and Arizona retailer Vartan Seferian.
