Fratello Cigars has announced it is releasing the second installment under its Concealed Carry brand, Detroit River.

Concealed Carry was launched by Fratello Cigars earlier this year. In this program, Fratello Cigars visits select factories and acquires unique blends. The cigars are repackaged and ultimately offered to select retailers. Most of the cigars curated are small-batch cigars.

Detroit River is a release of 1,000 12-count canisters. The cigars are 54 x 5 1/2 in format, and the blend remains undisclosed.

Detroit River continues with the theme of Prohibition, which also was the theme of the first Concealed Carry release, 18th Amendment. The Detroit River borders Ontario, Canada, and the state of Michigan. During Prohibition, bootleggers smuggled alcohol from Canada into Michigan on and along the river. If capture by authorities seemed imminent, the bootleggers would dump their illegal cargo into the river.
