Bond Roberts has announced its second cigar release, the Línea D No 1. This Línea D No 1 launched in London at J.J. Fox, where it is now available. It will be available globally in February 2025 to select brick-and-mortar and online cigar merchants.
Rob Ayala from Friends of Habanos and Rob Fox of James J Fox (JJ Fox) founded Bond Roberts. Until this year, Bond Roberts was primarily known as a cigar auction platform. The company is working with the Oscar Valladares factory in Honduras to produce the Línea D.
Hamlet Paredes blended it as part of the Fabrica 5 concept, an in-factory high-performance unit. The “5” refers to the five senses: sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing.
Línea D No 01 is a 50 x 7 1/4 featuring a bullet-style “109” cap. The blend uses a Honduran wrapper and binder, along with a combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The Línea D No 01 blend differs from the Línea D No 06, which was released earlier this year. The cigars come in 25-count boxes.
“The response to the Petit 109 has been overwhelming,” said Rob Ayala, Bond Roberts’s CEO, in a press release. “We didn’t want to wait too long to bring the next cigar in the series to market. Again, Hamlet Paredes, Oscar Valladares, and the Fabrica 5 team have done an exceptional job. Angel Miranda Battle has done a fantastic job with the 109’s packaging.”
J.J. Fox distributes Bond Roberts in the U.K.. Meanwhile, Ravi Mahbubani of COH cigars distributes for the rest of Europe and Asia. Bond Roberts Cigars says it will have up to 12 cigars across various lines in the market in the next three years.
The Bond Roberts Línea D No 01 will have an anticipated online SRP of $21.00 SRP.
