We will see a new trade show launch in 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, called the World Cigar Show. This is planned to be a premium cigar-focused trade show focused on the International market. Quartz Business Events and the Premium Cigar Association are partnering on the Trade Show, which will take place over two days from November 11-12, 2025, at the Festival City Arena.
The event will include a trade show and feature seminars and industry speakers.
World Cigar Show Dubai event director Colin Case commented in a press release: “We are extremely excited to announce this partnership with the PCA. Perfectly located in Dubai, with the second busiest airport in the world, the World Cigar Show will allow exhibitors to meet a truly global audience.”
It’s also a major move for the PCA. This marks the first time PCA will partner with a Trade Show outside the United States.
Scott Regina, President of the PCA, remarked: “Our team will assist Quartz as an advisor with the experience of putting together our annual trade show in the United States and marketing partner to our associate membership manufacturers. This partnership is an example of a win-win where both entities can complement one another’s specialties to create something unique.”
“Quartz is one of the biggest and most important event organizers in this sector, so we are really pleased to announce this partnership and collaborate with them on an event exclusively for premium cigars for growing international markets. This event partnership also importantly diversifies the association’s growing asset portfolio and brands,” added Joshua Habursky, Executive Director of the PCA.
The press release noted Dubai’s rapid growth in the cigar market and economic wealth as reasons why it was selected to host a premium cigar association trade show. Quartz Business Events has experience in the tobacco (and alternative) space with its TabExpo and series of World Tobacco Events. This past week, Quartz put on a World Tobacco Event in Dubai. The World Cigar Show will take place the same week next year, but its focus is on premium cigars.
