Smoke Inn 2024 Advent Calendar Day 18

Today, we examine the contents of the 2024 Smoke Inn Advent calendar for day 18. Warning: spoiler alert.

An Advent calendar counts down the days until Christmas. This tradition is believed to have originated with the German Lutherans. The calendar features moveable parts, such as flaps, doors, or pockets, that reveal a daily surprise. In 2021, Smoke Inn released its first Advent calendar, where the “surprise” is a different cigar daily. For the first time since 2021, Smoke Inn has redesigned the packaging.

Today’s reveal is the E.P. Carrillo Pledge Sojourn. The Pledge is the third installment of E.P. Carrillo’s Perez-Carrillo series and the people surrounding them. Pledge was named after receiving input from consumers who visited the E.P. Carrillo booth at Cigar Aficionado’s 2019 Big Smoke Las Vegas event. E.P. Carrillo says Pledge is meant to be a homage to all cigar smokers. Pledge is also a brand that has received quite a bit of critical acclaim. Most of that critical acclaim has been around the Prequel (Robusto) size. Another size Pledge comes in is the Sojourn, a Toro size.
