Landmark Hospitality has reintroduced the Stork Club name for a new lounge program that will feature a flagship cigar from Kingmakers Cigars for those lounges.
Founded by Sherman Billingsley in 1929, the Stork Club is a famous New York City nightclub. It was recognized as one of the most prestigious nightclubs in the world. The club was known for its celebrity, socialite, and world leader patrons. It was in operation until 1965. Cigars were a part of the Stork Club experience. Many will recognize the iconic large deep bowl black and white ashtrays branded with the Stork Club name.
Landmark Hospitality is a company that specializes in the hospitality space (bars, restaurants, events, etc). As a part of the program, Stork Club will offer membership programs. These programs provide dining and travel experiences, premier events and entertainment, and exclusive partnerships across its portfolio of 15 venues in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. One membership program is the Stork Club Cigar Lounge program.
Curated by Kingmakers, the Stork Club Cigar lounge membership offers exclusive access across Landmark Hospitality’s four—soon to be five—Stork Club premium cigar lounges. Members enjoy privileges such as private lockers, exclusive pairing events, new cigar releases, and monthly cigar allocations. There is also a lounge cigar, the Stork Club No 53.
The Stork Club No 53 cigar comes out of the Kingmakers factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It comes in a Toro (52 x 6) format. Stork Club No. 53 features a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper that surrounds rich Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

The Stork Club Cigar Club will have a gala event launch on January 9th, 2025. The event takes place in Summit, New Jersey at the Albion Summit Hotel. The hotel is home to a new Stork Club Cigar and Whiskey Lounge.
