Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) has released the Buffalo Trace Distillery Prohibition Collection Series #2. This Limited-Release Collection features five cigar blends paired with a limited-edition set of whiskies with the same name offered by Sazerac, Buffalo Trace’s parent company. Meier and Dutch handles distribution. The cigars are also available at Cigora.
The whiskeys and associated blends are listed below. The cigars are sold in a collection containing five of each blend. Each cigar is a 6 1/2 x 50 Toro, and the 25-count collection is priced at $500.00. Production is limited to 750 boxes.
- Old Fashioned Mountain Corn: Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Honduran binder, and Nicaraguan filler
- Anderson’s Belle: Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and filler
- Silver Wedding: Honduran Corojo wrapper, Honduran binder and filler
- V.O.P.: Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan & Dominican filler
- Mirror Brook: Corojo & Maduro barber-pole wrapper, Honduran binder, and Nicaraguan & Panama filler
The Buffalo Trace Distillery Collection Series whiskies are sold separately and distributed through Sazerac’s U.S. distributor network. They are sold as a collection containing one 375ml bottle of each whiskey, and the collection costs $999.99.
