Jonathan Lipson The Cigar Profit

Cigar Industry Veteran Jonathan Lipson has announced he has launched his own consulting company, The Cigar Profit. Lipson is best known for his tenure as Alec Bradley Cigar Company’s Director of Sales and Marketing. He most recently served as a Senior Brand Manager for Alec Bradley at Scandinavian Tobacco Group.

The Cigar Profit is a specialized consulting firm designed to help cigar businesses sharpen their strategy, build brand equity, and drive long-term success. Lipson has two decades of experience spanning retail, sales, brand management, and marketing.

To expand its offerings, The Cigar Profit has partnered with Cigars Consulting, a Nicaragua-based procurement and logistics firm with additional operations in Honduras and the Dominican Republic, led by founder Nasser Valenzuela, whom Lipson previously worked with in the cigar industry. Valenzuela’s comprehensive approach to procurement includes relationships with cigar factories across Latin America, quality control, vendor negotiations, and end-to-end logistics—from raw material sourcing to finished goods distribution.
