Procigar 2025 Auction Items

On February 21, the 2025 Procigar Festival will wrap up with its annual charity auction. This auction will benefit low-income families with children and elders in the Dominican Republic. Each of the members of Procigar has contributed a special limited edition item that will be auctioned off. In addition, there will most likely be other items, such as rare collectible cigars, made available in the auction. Attendees will also get to contribute to building a fully equipped new home for one of the cigar industry’s employees.

Once again, Michael Herklots, co-founder of Ferio Tego cigars, will be the lead auctioneer.

Lot 1: Arnold André for Procigar Festival 2025 Humidor by Marc André

This is a one-of-a-kind creation designed by Marc André. It has a sophisticated design and state-of-the-art technology, including an innovative ventilation system, a climate control system, and an advanced, fully electronic humidification system (all developed by Marc André).

The unit holds up to 2,000 cigars. It also features height-adjustable shelves, a three-layer wood core with veneered surfaces, and a glass door.

Lot 2: The Palazzo of Love Humidor by Tabacalera de Garcia

The one-of-a-kind tabletop humidor commemorates the 150th anniversary of Romeo y Julieta. The architectural arches of Verona inspired the design. It is made of genuine Italian white pebbled leather with intricate embossed detailing. and a premium mahogany interior. The humidor has six mahogany drawers. The top drawer is dedicated to organizing essential accessories, while the remaining five drawers are designed to store cigars. The unit also includes 100 limited-edition Reconciliations cigars, with space to accommodate up to 240. The box-pressed Belicoso (52 x 6 1/8) Reconciliation cigars were produced at Tabacalera de García for this anniversary and have a suggested retail price of $31.00.

Finally, the unit features 4000k LED strips to illuminate the interior.

Lot 3: Winston Churchill Ambassador Humidor and A Winston Churchill Collection Ashtray from Davidoff

This French-made humidor includes

Seven storage dividers, including one with a pocket for accessories
Removable wooden tray with handles
Davidoff Slim Regulator for stable humidity
Tulipwood exterior with Anigre wood interior
Lid adorned with Winston Churchill’s silhouette, and quote front adorned with Winston Churchill’s silhouette and signature
Capacity: 70–80 cigars
Contains 70 Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 cigars

Lot 4: La Aurora Generations Humidor

Described as a “unique masterpiece,” this unit was handcrafted by Guillermo León’s daughter, Livi. It includes 152 exclusive La Aurora Small Batch Cigars, each aged a minimum of 17 years, and will not be released into the regular market. It comes with 152 cigars, including:

Small Batch #14 24 Vintage Toro Box Press (6 1/2 x 54) – 17 years of aging
Small Batch #23 32 Vintage Salomón (6 1/2 x 50/60) – 21 years of aging
Small Batch #19 32 Vintage Toro (5 3/4 x 58) – 21 years of aging
Small Batch #26 24 Vintage Cameroon Africa Lancero (6 7/8 x 40) – 25 years of aging
Small Batch #17 40 Vintage Ambassador Maduro (4 1/2 x 38/60) – 17 years of aging

Lot 5: Rare Bleu by La Flor Dominicana

For this humidor, La Flor Dominicana teamed up with Elie Bleu. The package also includes 160 rare La Flor Dominicana cigars, including:

50 – Andalusian Bull Maduro (never before released)
66 – Andalusian Bull The Golden (extremely rare, only 5,000 cigars produced per year)
54 – Litto Gomez Lusitano Maduro (extremely rare, only 1,000 boxes ever made)

Lot 6: 2024 Limited Edition Opus X Rare Red “The Best is Yet to Come” Cabinet Humidor by Tabacalera A. Fuente

Made in France, this humidor is serial numbered and has a certificate of authenticity. Each unit is crafted in Macassar Ebony and Red Sycamore. The interior is lined with Okoume wood. It comes with 130 cigars, including:

Lot 7: Casa Carrillo Pledge of Allegiance Humidor

This was done in collaboration with Dennis Hernandez. The unit features mahogany, oakum cork, 100% Hermes Cowhide, and exotic woods. It also features interior LED lighting.

The unit comes with 135 cigars, including:

105 Pledge of Allegiance Toro cigars
30 Pledge of Allegiance Salomon cigars

Lot 8: QC Special Edition Humidor by Quesada Cigars

This unit honors Quesada’s two recent milestones: 15 Years of Casa Magna and 50 years of Quesada Cigars.

The humidor’s exterior is handcrafted from mahogany, while the interior is lined with Spanish cedar. It has a capacity of 120 cigars. The unit comes with two exclusive vitolas blended exclusively for the Procigar festival – the Casa Magna XV Anniversary and the Quesada 50th Anniversary.

Lot 9: La Culebra by De Los Reyes Cigars

This mahogany humidor features 140 cigars of the Don Julio Year of the Snake. We got a preview of this cigar on the De Los Reyes tour yesterday.

Lot 10: El Vinyet by PDR Cigars

Made in Spain, this humidor comes with 100 6 1/2 x 52 El Vinyet Prominetes. The branded humidor includes the gold letters of El Vinyet and an all-around white gloss, a custom analog hygrometer with a separate temperature gauge, and a locking key. The humidors are entirely crafted from aged Spanish cedar.

Lot 11: Palma Dorada, Alma Dorada by Tabacalera Palma

Tabacalera Palma is getting a state-of-the-art facility, and this humidor is celebrating the transformation into the new facility. Designed by Dominican artist Henry Crisóstom, the features include:

A new Tabacalera emblem, seamlessly integrated into the design
Brazilian Cedar construction
Magnetized opening system
Two high-precision humidity regulators

Lot 12: The Great Hope Humidor by General Cigar Dominicana

This humidor was inspired by General Cigar’s pavilion at the 1933 World’s Fair in Chicago during the Great Depression. It includes 150 of the legendary Partagas 150 cigars, which were first released in 1995 to commemorate Partagas’ 150th birthday. This cigar features a 2002 vintage Cameroon wrapper over a blend of Piloto Cubano and Mexican San Andres tobaccos.

Lot 13: Official Procigar Humidor by HumidifGroup

This is a Procigar-branded unit from HumidifGroup. It holds 300 cigars and includes 25 unique cigars from each of Procigar’s 12 members.

The Humidor features two dark, natural wood sections with a gloss lacquer finish. These sections are joined by a high-gloss black acrylic-like centerpiece, adorned with both Procigar ́s 2025 logo and HumidifGroup’s logo in a high-quality embossed gold metallic sticker.

Inside the humidor, there are two sections, each containing six drawers. The custom gold handles on these drawers are laser-engraved with the names of the 12 Procigar members. The bottom of each section is dedicated to humidification and features custom gold hygrometers.

Lot 14: Toro Sabio by Yubo Fernández

This is a 44 x 38 acrylic painting by Yubo Fernández. It is a “Caribe Pop Art” collection inspired by the colors of the Caribbean Sea, sugarcane, sunsets, sunrises, the sun, and the contrasts of the mountains and beaches of the Dominican Republic. It focuses on the new architectural wave of this time with large, vibrant, joyful, and colorful artwork.
