Kafie 1901 Cigars has announced its expansion into Europe by partnering with Don Stefano Zigarrenmanufaktur GmbH.
Kafie 1901 Cigars was founded by Dr. Gaby Kafie in 2013. After a retinal disease brought his medical career to an end, Dr. Kafie dedicated himself fully to his lifelong passion: tobacco. Today, Kafie 1901 produces cigars out of the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic. Don Stefano Zigarrenmanufaktur is a manufacturer of both cigars and cigarillos. The company is also a cigar importer based in Heuchelheim, Germany.

As one of the oldest cigar manufacturers in Germany, Don Stefano offers decades of expertise, a strong reputation, and unparalleled knowledge of the European premium cigar landscape,” commented Kafie 1901 Cigars in a press release.
Kafie 1901 Cigars is set to kick off its distribution in Europe in Germany. Following this, the plan is to expand organically into other European markets over the next 12 months. Keeping to its boutique ethos, Kafie 1901 will maintain a limited production philosophy.
“We do not mass-produce cigars. Therefore, when they are available, make sure you enjoy them. It will be an honor,” added Dr. Kafie.
