While not a new exhibitor at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, JM Tobacco was a first-time visit for the Cigar Coop Coalition team. Last year, Kevin Shahan of Cigar Prop warmly introduced JM’s President, Anto Mahourkian, to our team. JM Tobacco is a company that has achieved success in the value-priced cigar market, but more recently, they have been expanding their premium brand, Española. For 2025, a new blend is being introduced to Española: the Corojo.

JM Tobacco certainly stood out among the PCA booths, featuring a blackjack dealer who conducted games. Retailers could win prizes by participating.

The other attraction was a mechanical dog named Stogie, which was one of the most enjoyable attractions we encountered.

Let’s turn our attention to the business side of cigars. In 2024, JM Tobacco unveiled the Española Year of the Dragon limited-edition release, which proved to be a hit. Based on this success, JM has decided to transition it into a regular production release now known as the Española Corojo. This cigar boasts an Ecuadorian-grown Corojo wrapper. A San Andres binder, complemented by a rich blend of Dominican and Pennsylvania fillers, is another component. Alongside the Toro (6 x 52) size initially offered in the Española Year of the Dragon, three new sizes have been introduced: Robusto (5 x 50), Belicoso (6 x 52), and Churchill (6 3/4 x 52). All four sizes will be available in 20-count boxes.
