La Aurora Cigars is releasing the Small Batch Lot No 7. This latest installment of the Small Batch Series is made for the PCA Alliance.
PCA Alliance is a membership tier within the Premium Cigar Association geared toward non-tobacco businesses and consumers. Non-tobacco businesses include golf courses, restaurants, and other establishments offering premium cigars. While PCA Alliance members technically do not attend the Trade Show, the Small Batch Lot No 7 will be showcased there and will be available for PCA show attendees to order.
“The PCA Alliance is extremely important to the industry as we look for U.S. allies in cigar-friendly businesses like golf clubs, restaurants, and spirits manufacturers passionate about partnering with premium cigar brands like ourselves,” said John Ferrigan, National Sales Director of La Aurora USA in a press release.
Manuel Inoa created the La Aurora Small Batch collection of limited-quantity cigars. These cigars have been aging at La Aurora for a considerable amount of time. In fact, the Small Batch Lot No. 7 PCA Alliance has been in the aging room for 21 years. It is one of the most aged cigars in the Small Batch collection.
Small Batch Lot No 7 features a Mexican San Andres wrapper and both Dominican and Cameroon leaves for the binder. The fillers consist of a blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian tobacco. The cigar is available in one size: a 4 1/2 x 50 Robusto. La Aurora produced 180 ten-count boxes, with each box priced at $150.00.
“Small Batch is a series that is very special to me. Not only because I created it, but it is literally in the name. These cigars will only ever exist in small batches: each release features distinct tasting notes rooted in tobaccos that have been aged and are unable to be blended and rolled in large scale quantities,” said La Aurora Master Blender Manuel Inoa.
“We are excited to collaborate with La Aurora on this special release. This will enable our team to provide an event cigar to alliance members that sign up at our PCA events and regional meet and greets. Our team was able to test this cigar at La Aurora’s factory during Pro Cigar and Manuel really hit this one out of the park,” added PCA Executive Director Joshua Habursky.
