Macanudo Emissary France

General Cigar Company has finally announced details of the Macanudo Emissary France. The Emissary France follows up the Macanudo Emissary España. While the Emissary España featured tobacco from Spain, the Emissary France incorporates tobacco grown in France.

The French tobacco in the Emissary France is grown in the southwestern part of France’s Mugron River Valley between Bordeaux and the Spanish border. It is incorporated into a filler that features Brazilian, Dominican, and U.S.-grown tobaccos aged between seven and tne years. A ten-year-old USA Broadleaf leaf is used as a binder. The cigar itself is finished with a ten-year-old Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

In a press release, Matt Wilson, Senior Brand Manager for Macanudo, commented, “After the success of Emissary España, we knew we had high expectations to meet. Going to France, with its incredible flavors and deep-rooted tradition of sophistication, felt like a natural next step. We were inspired by the richness and refinement that define French craftsmanship and set out to create a cigar that embodies those same qualities. Emissary France is the perfect expression of that vision, delivering an experience that is both refined and unforgettable.”

The Emissary France comes in four sizes: Robusto, Toro, Churchill, and Perfecto. These are the same sizes as the Emissary España. Each comes in 16-count boxes. Shipping to retailers has commenced.
