Aging Room Cigars is one of the brands featured by Altadis U.S.A. at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. What sets Aging Room apart from the others is that it was founded and is owned by Rafael Nodal, who also holds the position of Vice President of Product Capability at Altadis, the distributor of Aging Room cigars. Over the past five years, the standout offering from Aging Room has been the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua, a box-pressed line crafted by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua. This year, they’ve introduced a new variant called the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto. Additionally, Aging Room has recently revived an earlier brand from Nodal’s portfolio known as La Boheme.
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto
The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Concerto marks the third release in Aging Room’s Quattro Nicaragua series. This cigar is crafted entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco and features a hybrid Criollo ’98 wrapper. Additionally, it incorporates leaves from the first harvest of AJ Fernandez’s Finca Los Espejos, dating back nearly 12 years. The inspiration for the Concerto comes from classical music compositions, which symbolize a harmonious interplay between a solo instrument and its orchestral backdrop.
The Quattro Nicaragua is available in six sizes and boxes of 20 cigars, except for the Impromptu, available in boxes of ten, and the Maestro, available in boxes of ten and 20. Pricing ranges from $14.84 to $17.08 per cigar.
- Espressivo: 50 x 5
- Maestro: 52 x 6 (Figurado)
- Impromptu: 52 x 6
- Vibrato: 54 x 6
- Grande: 60 x 6
- Concerto: 50 x 7
Aging Room La Boheme
In 2014, Rafael Nodal launched the La Bohème brand under his Boutique Blends company. This was a brand produced by Jochy Blanco. La Bohème is the name of an opera composed by Giacomo Puccini, a favorite of Nodal. In fact, Nodal has said this cigar brings together his three passions—his love for music, Cuban culture, and cigars. When Altadis started distributing Boutique Blends, La Boheme went on hiatus.
La Boheme has returned with a fresh identity and an exciting makeover; it is now known as Aging Room La Boheme. This new version features an all-new blend, with production shifting to AJ Fernandez. The revamped La Boheme boasts a hybrid wrapper made from Broadleaf and Habano seeds cultivated in the Connecticut Valley. The rest of the blend consists of Nicaraguan tobaccos sourced from Estelí. This line is offered in four sizes, each named after a character from the opera.

There are four sizes available – each comes in 20-count boxes. The Poeta is also available in 100-count bulk boxes.
- Mimi: 46 x 3 1/2 (SRP $17.90/cigar)
- Pittore: 52 x 5 1/8 (SRP $23.92/cigar)
- Poeta: 54 x 5 3/4 (SRP $24.52/cigar)
- Musico: 60 x 6 1/4 (SRP $24.90/cigar)
