Much the same as in 2024, De Los Reyes Cigars focused on its Don Julio brand at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. If you look at De Los Reyes’ portfolio, you will see two key brands: Saga and Don Julio. The Don Julio line pays tribute to Don Julio Samuel Reyes Fermin, a third-generation member of the Reyes family, who was renowned as one of the industry’s legendary growers. Notably, Don Julio is De Los Reyes Cigars’ most premium line. This year, the company is releasing the second installment of its Chinese Zodiac series, called the Don Julio Year of the Snake.
De Los Reyes is celebrating its release, which is tied to the Chinese Zodiac for the Year of the Wood Snake. The Chinese Zodiac features a cycle of 12 animals, each appearing in a repeating sequence. Many might not realize that every zodiac year is associated with one of five elements: earth, fire, metal, water, and wood. Consequently, while each animal returns every 12 years, the combinations of animals and elements follow a larger 60-year cycle.
The blend is described as a “shammy” Ecuadorian Habano leaf over all Dominican binder and fillers. The cigars come in 24-count boxes, all in one size: a 52 x 6 Toro. A total of 500 boxes have been produced.
While it debuted in 2024, De Los Reyes prominently showcased the Don Julio Sang Bleu in 2025. This is a regular, but limited production under the Don Julio brand. The blend of Sang Bleu is 100% Dominican tobaccos and features a Dominican Habano wrapper. Sang Bleu is available in 24-count boxes in four different vitolas.
