The 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show saw HVC Cigars showcase a pair of tenth-anniversary releases. These were not cigars for the company’s tenth anniversary, as that release came out in 2023. Instead, Reiner Lorenzo showcased tenth anniversary releases for two of the earliest HVC lines: HVC La Rosa 520 and HVC Edición Especial 2015.
HVC La Rosa 520 10th Anniversary
La Rosa 520 line was launched in 2015. The name refers to HVC Founder and CEO Reinier Lorenzo‘s previous address in Havana, Cuba. The La Rosa 520 10th Anniversary brings an all-new Nicaraguan puro blend highlighted by a three-year-aged Habano 1992 wrapper. It comes in two sizes – a Magniicos (6 1/2 x 52 Figurado, SRP $14.00/cigar) and Originales (5 1/2 x 54 Parejo, SRP $13.00/cigar). Both sizes come in 21-count boxes with a total production of 1,000 boxes per size.
HVC Edición Especial 2015 Box Pressed
Essentially, this line is returning to the HVC lineup in a new box-pressed format. Like the original HVC Edición Especial 2015, the new Box Pressed version also features a San Andres wrapper. The remainder of the blend is Nicaraguan tobaccos from one farm in Estelí and another farm in Nicaragua. The box-pressed is a soft Cuban box-press style. The Box Pressed line comes in four regular production sizes: Corona Gorda (46 x 5 5/8, SRP $9.00), Short Robusto (52 x 4 1/2, SRP $9.50), Toro (54 x 6, SRP $10.60), and El Grandote (60 x 6, SRP $12.60). Each size comes in 20-count boxes.
