PCA 2025 La Aurora

While La Aurora has long been a staple at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, the 2025 edition was the third one since La Aurora set up La Aurora USA. La Aurora USA was not only set up to be La Aurora’s distribution arm in the U.S. markets, but it was also set up for La Aurora to renew its commitment to the U.S. market. At PCA 2025, this commitment was higher because the two new products reflect that theme. Judging by the booth’s bustling activity at PCA 2025, many of La Aurora’s customers are also excited about this.

La Aurora Family Creed Fuerte Sol

This La Aurora product is quite different from what has been seen before. It features a San Andres wrapper, with a Nicaraguan binder and fillers sourced from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Pennsylvania in the U.S. The cigars will be available in two sizes: Box-Pressed Robusto and Box-Pressed Toro, which are set to ship in May 2025. Later this year, a third size, the Box-Pressed Gran Toro, will be introduced. Each size will come in 20-count boxes, with pricing ranging from $15.50 to $18.50 suggested retail price (SRP).

A San Andres box-pressed cigar is not something typically associated with La Aurora. Manuel Inoa explained that this cigar was developed based on feedback from the broader community. It was created to reflect flavors outside of Manuel’s usual preferences, incorporating input from others. He mentioned that he was quite pleased with the final result.

La Aurora Small Batch No 7

La Aurora Small Batch is a collection of limited-quantity cigars. These cigars have been aging at La Aurora for a long time. The La Aurora Small Batch No. 7 is a notable cigar created specifically for the PCA Alliance. The PCA was very enthusiastic about this cigar. La Aurora also highlights its commitment to the U.S. market by collaborating with the leading retail trade association in the country.

PCA Alliance is a membership tier within the Premium Cigar Association geared toward non-tobacco businesses and consumers. Non-tobacco businesses include golf courses, restaurants, and other establishments offering premium cigars. While PCA Alliance members technically do not attend the Trade Show, the Small Batch Lot No 7 will be showcased there and available for PCA show attendees to order.

Small Batch Lot No 7 features a Mexican San Andres wrapper and both Dominican and Cameroon leaves for the binder. The fillers consist of a blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian tobacco. The cigar is available in one size: a 4 1/2 x 50 Robusto. La Aurora produced 180 ten-count boxes, with each box priced at $150.00.

La Aurora Preferidos Hors D’Age LE 2024

Hors D’Age stands for “beyond time.” Over the past few years, it has become La Aurora’s ongoing ultra-premium. The La Aurora Hors D’Age release is distinguished by the extra aging process used to develop this blend. Significantly, La Aurora says the product goes through a 12-year cycle from when the tobacco seeds are sown to when the completed cigars reach consumers. The 2024 vintage is the sixth release of the line.

The 2024 release comes in one size – a 5/34 x 54 Toro. The blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and binder, complemented by Dominican, Colombian, and Nicaraguan fillers. A total of 700 boxes, each containing 15 cigars, will be released this year for $30.00 per cigar.
