Partagas was one of several brands being showcased by Forged Cigar Company at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. Quietly, Partagas has been emerging as one of the more innovative brands since STG shifted it into the Forged Cigar portfolio in 2021. Since then, we’ve seen Partagas add its first Connecticut blend, Partagas Cortado, and its first San Andres Maduro, Partagas Valle Verde. More recently, we have witnessed Partagas begin to collaborate with other factories. This started in 2023 with the El Titan de Bronze release on Partagas de Bronce. This year at PCA 2025, Partagas unveiled a new collaboration with Tabacalera William Ventura – Partagas Y Nada Mas Santiago. At the same time, this cigar marks a major change in direction for the Partagas brand.
Y Nada Más Santiago
Y Nada Más translates to “and nothing else.” This phrase is intended to highlight the exceptional quality of the Partagas brand. Partagas has probably had some of the most traditional packaging in STG’s portfolio to date. With Y Nada Mas Santiago, this was a cigar meant to appeal to more contemporary smokers. At the same time, Partagas still wanted to preserve some of its traditional qualities. The choice of Tabacalera William Ventura is representative of a factory that bridges past and present nicely. Brand manager John Hakim says Y Nada Mas will be a sub-brand within Partagas, with other releases from other factories being added to the series.
The blend features a Habano 2000 wrapper over a Sumatra binder. The fillers are Piloto, Corojo, Ecuadorian, and Broadleaf fillers. Y Nada Más Santiago comes in three sizes: Robusto, Toro, and Gordo. Each comes in 20-count boxes. A couple of years ago, we noted that Forged was focusing heavily on the under $10.00 price point. Therefore, it is no surprise that for Y Nada Más, pricing ranges from $7.99 to $9.99 per cigar.
One final note is that Partagas has plans to repackage its core line later this year. We didn’t get a close-up picture, but the photo below gives a preview of this.
