Onyx Vintage Nicaragua Toro by Altadis U.S.A. | Cigar Review
This is a tag used for the Onyx brand under Altadis U.S.A. Onyx is the name of a semiprecious stone that forms bands of different colors, such as black and white. The black color is the most striking. Unlike other heritage brands, this is not a heritage brand that traces back to Cuba. Instead this is an original brand that traces back in 2000. In 2018, the brand started to get a bigger push from Altadis. The original Onyx was produced in the Dominican Republic, but since 2000 there have been two additional releases that have come from A.J. Fernandez’s factory in Nicaragua.
