Next month, Altadis U.S.A. will add a new line under its Onyx brand known as Onyx Vintage Nicaragua.

The Onyx Vintage Nicaragua features 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos. This is highlighted by an extra-aged Habano Nicaragua wrapper sourced from an esteemed 2019 harvest. The cigars will be available in three sizes – each packaged in 20-count boxes: Robusto (50 x 5, SRP $9.60/cigar), Toro (54 x 6, SRP $10.00/cigar), and Magnum (60 x 6, SRP $10.75/cigar). Production comes from Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A.

This is the second Onyx blend to come from AJ Fernandez. In 2020, Altadis U.S.A. released the Onyx Bold Nicaragua – which also came from that factory. Meanwhile, the Onyx Reserve, the original Onyx blend, comes from the Tabacalera De Garcia factory in the Dominican Republic.
