#18 My Father Limited Edition 2010 |
It’s time for the 13th installment of “30 Cigars in 31 Days” – better known as the review of the top cigars of the year for 2010.
The cigar placing at #18 on the list is from Don Pepin Garcia’s My Father Cigars called the My Father Limited Edition 2010. This cigar is a special cigar for three reasons: 1) There have only been 24000 sticks made; 2) Each cigar is packaged in an individual coffin box; 3) Each of the sticks were rolled personally by Don Pepin Garcia and his son Jaime.
As for the blend, the binder and filler contain the classic Pepin Nicaraguan tobaccos. The wrapper is the showcase of the presentation – a hybrid Ecuadorian Habano Rosado/Criollo. This stick was only made in one vitola – 6.5 x 52 Toro. The flavor profile provides a unique combination of toast, cinnamon, black cherry, wood, and the trademark Pepin pepper notes. I would put this smoke as a medium strength with medium to full as far as body goes.

Recommended Vitola: Toro (6.5 x 52) – ONLY VITOLA Available.
