In describing the Selecto, Villiger cigars said int he press release: “All of our premium cigars feature carefully chosen blends, and the Villiger Selecto perfectly exemplifies that emphasis on quality and smoker satisfaction. Here, every leaf is hand-picked according to color and taste, sourced from select growers and then carefully hand-crafted. The result is the rarest of finds. It conjures the best of Cuban traditions, with an earthy and complex flavor profile.”
One interesting fact is the two vitolas of the Selecto will actually have smaller ring gauges. The cigar is being launched in a Corona Gorda (48 ring gauge) and a Lancero (40 ring gauge). The company is limiting initial production to 500 boxes of each size.
