At the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show, Illusione Cigars announced the fourth release of their limited production Singulare line. The Illusione Singulare 2013 will be known as Illusione Singulare 2013 Rose Croix. According to a report in the 8/13/13 Cigar Insider, this release is slated for a November, 2013 release.
Like its predecessors in the series, the Illusione 2013 Rose Croix will be a one time production run in a brand new blend. Cigar Insider reported numbers of 900 boxes of 15 (13,500 cigars). The Rose Croix will be a Nicaraguan puro will feature corojo tobacco grown in Esteli.
The Illusione Singulare series began in 2010 with the release of the Illusione Singulare 2010 Phantom. The 2011 release was delayed until 2012 and was packaged in a dual package consisting of both the Illusione Singulare 2011 Vimana and Illusione Singulare 2012 Vimana. The latter cigar blend ended up finishing as our #3 Cigar of 2012.
The Illusione Singulare 2013 Rose Croix marked the only new blend announced at IPCPR. The Illusione Epernay Le Voyage and Illusione Cruzado Marelas Supremas were line extensions announced to the Eperney and Cruzado lines respectively.
