Back at the 2013 IPCPR, we took a look at a new cigar line from Davidoff’s Zino Platinum brand called “Zino Platinum Collector’s Edition – The Make of L.A.”. This marks Zino’s second collection of cigars dedicated to the lifestyle and culture of a city. This line of cigar will shortly be heading to Zino Platinum Retailers.
“The Make of L.A.” follows up the “The Make of New York” collection – that was released in the spring. Like the New York collection, the L.A. edition will feature four collectible boxes designed to reflect cultural themes associated with the city of Los Angeles. We reported two of these themes from the trade show, but now the four themes have been announced: Tattoo (Ink), Music, Car Culture, and Film. The artwork was done by Burton Machen. Like the New York Collection cigars in each of the boxes will have a secondary band reflecting the theme. The blend will be the same across each of the packages.
