Last month, it was announced that Senior Vice President of Premium Cigars, Benjamin “Benji” Menendez was retiring after 60 plus years in the premium cigar business. During a private gala held at Club Macanudo, the Partagas Benji Homage 62 was handed out to guests at the event. It was also announced that the cigar would be released in 2014. The January 7th edition of Cigar Insider has reported had details of this cigar.
The report by Cigar Insider says that the cigar is scheduled to make its way to retailers by the end of January. It also reports that a limited production of 1,500 boxes of ten were produced.
