Altadis USA has announced a revamping to its Gispert cigar line. The revamping includes new packaging and updated banding to the cigars.
From a packaging standpoint, the Gispert will now be available in 15 count cedar slide top boxes. The cigars will receive upgraded bands including a slight tint change to a darker red on the primary band. There will now be a secondary sheath style band added as well.
The Gispert is a brand manufactured in Cuba by Habanos SA. In 2003, Altadis USA began production of a Gispert cigar for the American market in Honduras. There is also a maduro in the line, but no updates to the maduro have been showcased.
The blend will remain the same and the line will now be focused around five vitolas:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade

Corona: 5 1/2 x 44
Toro: 6 x 50
