At the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show, Kings Cigars launched its latest line, Knights. Knights will add three new blends to the company’s portfolio. It will also add a value-priced offering with pricing in the $4.00 to $6.00 range.
The Knights line will offer three wrapper options, a Connecticut Shade, a Ecuadorian Habano, and Brazilia Mata Fina Maduro offering. There will be a variety of vitolas offered across the lines: Figuardo (Connecticut, Habano); Robusto (Connecticut, Habano); Toro (Connecticut, Habano, Maduro); Coronita (Connecticut); Gordito (Connecticut, Habano); “Godfather” (Habano) and Lancero (Connecticut).
In a press release just before the trade show, Kings founder and President Anwar Mithavayani said “Our team, headed by master blender Gregorio Vasquez created an incredible cigar, a cigar worthy of price tag twice the suggested retail price. With Knights, we created a cigar with complex flavor notes, in various wrappers and vitolas, that will not only cater to the experienced cigar smoker’s refined palate, but appeal to those seeking a cigar at a price that can be smoked every day. The market was calling for premium, reasonably priced cigars and we believe Knights fills that niche.”
The Knights will be available humi-packs, bundles, and boxes.
