Indian Motorcycle Ultra Premium Cigars, the new brand being launched by Phil Zanghi of Debonaire Cigars will have its official national debut on Friday September 4. The debut will take place at Twins Smoke Shop in Londonderry, New Hampshire with Zanghi in attendance.
Late last year, Zanghi announced he re-acquired the Indian Tabac trademark, a brand associated from his time with Rocky Patel Premium Cigars. Instead of bringing back Indian Tabac as it was known, Zanghi decided to partner with Polaris and create a whole new brand called Indian Motorcycle Ultra Premium Cigars. The cigars have a tie in with the early Americana theme of the famous motorcycle brand. The cigars were officially unveiled at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show.
Twins Smoke Shop is owned by Kurt Kendall. Kendall is also well known for being the brand owner of 7-20-4 Cigars. Twins’ Smoke Shop is a cigar store known for its nostalgia theme and it provides the atmosphere to launch the new brand.
Indian Motorcycle Cigars will be offered in two blends – a Habano and a Maduro. The Habano features an Habano Ecuador wrapper while the Maduro uses a Connecticut Broadleaf one. Both blends feature a Dominican San Vincente binder and filler containing HVA ligero, Nicaraguan Seco, and Piloto Cubano. Both blends are offered in four sizes: Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52), Gordo (6 x 58), and Churchill (7 1/2 x 50).
