A fourth blend is coming to Asylum Cigars’ popular Asylum 13 line. Today the company announced the Asylum 13 Connecticut will be available at the end of the month. As the name indicates, the cigar will add an Connecticut Shade wrapper offering into the Asylum 13 line.

The Asylum 13 Connecticut was blended by Christian Eiroa and Tom Lazuka. The cigar features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over Honduran binder and filler. According to Lazuka, “Asylum cigars are known for being more full bodied and Nicaraguan. We wanted to blend something different and lighter into the portfolio”.

The Asylum 13 Connecticut becomes the second regular production offering by Asylum Cigars to feature a Connecticut Shade wrapper. In 2014, the company introduced the Insidious by Asylum Connecticut offering – a cigar with a sweet tip cap intended for novice cigar enthusiasts. The Asylum 13 Connecticut joins the Asylum 13 (Habano), Asylum 13 Authentic Corojo, and Asylum 13 Ogre (Candela / Habano barber pole).

At a glance, here is a look at the Asylum 13 Connecticut.
