At the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show, L’Atelier Imports showcased a new offering called L’Atelier Identite. Identite is French for Identity and with the case of this cigar, it is appropriate as it showcases the tobacco that L’Atelier Imports has become best known for.
The Identite is a cigar that features Sancti Spiritus tobacco for the wrapper, binder, and filler. Santi Spiritus is a tobacco that is always found somewhere in the blend of a L’Atelier branded cigar and has become the signature (or identity) of the brand. As a result, it is appropriate that L’Atelier’s Sancti Spiritus puro takes the name Identite.
Sancti Spiritus is a hybrid of Criollo and Pelo de Oro and was designed as a replacement seed for Pelo de Oro. Typically the company sources the wrapper from Ecuador for wrapper and from the Garcia family farms in Nicaragua for binder and filler.
L’Atelier Identite is available in three sizes. Each are available in 20 count boxes.
