At this year’s IPCPR Trade Show, Tony Bellatto’s La Barba Cigars is introducing some new band designs for its La Barba Red and La Barba Purple lines.
“We have decided to update our bands, we feel that the straight razor has really made the brand iconic and I wanted to really exemplify it as the main focus of the band and I also wanted to keep the super modern feel, which is what we did last year with the boxes at the trade show. They are now a Matte paper, with gold and silver powder finishing, additionally I used the same size and shape of the Siempre band, in order to tie the three together. Nothing else is changing with the the two blends, or box packaging, just a little update on the cigar bands themselves,” commented Bellatto in a statement to Cigar Coop.
La Barba produces its cigars at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. The company’s brands are distributed by Robert Caldwell’s Down and Back group.
