Each and every year, C.L.E. Cigar Company is one of the busiest booths at the IPCPR Trade Show. 2018 was no exception, and while there wasn’t a plethora of new releases, there was no slowdown of activity. This year the company showcased its C.L.E., EIROA, and Asylum brands as well as Patoro Cigars, the Dominican cigar company it distributes.

In terms of the C.L.E. portfolio, several blends in the C.L.E. Collection received a series of line extensions known as Los Chaparritos. The name Los Chapparritos refers to the fact that these cigars are short in length. These line extensions add a 54 x 4, 60 x 4, and a 69 x 4 to the C.L.E. Connecticut, C.L.E. Corojo, C.L.E Habano, and C.L.E. Azabache lines.

While EIROA and Asylum didn’t launch any recent new products at IPCPR (EIROA had released the EIROA First 20 Years Diadema to TAA and Asylum Medulla Oblongata Maduro this past spring), there were some new samplers offered to these lines as well as the C.L.E. brands. The samplers contain multiple blends in a 50 x 5 Robusto format.

The EIROA sampler features the EIROA, EIROA CBT, EIROA First 20 Years, and EIROA First 20 Years Colorado blend.

The Asylum Sampler features the Asylum 13, Asylum 13 Ogre, Asylum Straight Jacket, Asylum Medulla Oblongata, and Asylum Medulla Oblongata Maduro.

The C.L.E. Collection sampler features the C.LE. Connecticut, C.L.E. Habano, C.L.E. Corojo,  C.L.E. Azabache, and C.L.E. Signature lines.

Meanwhile Patoro Cigars showcased its limited edition Patoro Platino line. This is a Dominican puro produced at the De Los Reyes factory available in a Toro (6 x 50) and Robusto (5 x 50).
