On April 1st, 2019, Punch Cigars will introduce a new limited value-priced offering known as the Punch Egg Roll. It’s a cigar that is intended to encourage consumers to come out of hibernation from the sub-zero vortexes experienced in many parts of the country this winter.
Punch Egg Roll will come in one size – a 4 1/2 x 50 Rothschild featuring a shaggy foot. The shaggy foot is said to represent the cabbage inside an egg roll. It will be limited to 3,000 25-count bundles for brick and mortar accounts. The bundles will come packaged in a “Chinese take-out” style box that pays homage to the Year of the Pig. The bands will feature one of five “fortunes” from Punch mascot Mr. Punch.
As for the blend, it is a five-country multi-national blend consisting of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and fillers from Colombia, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the United States. Production will be handled out of the HATSA factory in Honduras.
Pricing is set at $3.99 per cigar.
