Last year Fratello Cigars released a sampler called the Fratello Space Pack that contained two unreleased blends in a 6 x 50 format. The intent was to get market research on whether either of these blends should be brought to market. Today Fratello announced that one of the blends, Sorella will be introduced into the International (non-U.S.) market.

The Sorella is described as the “same blend, new look.” It consists of an Ecuadorian wrapper, Indonesian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Instead of being released in the 6 x 50 format that was found in the Space Pack, it will be released in a 5 x 50 Robusto and a 6 1/2 x 54 Toro. Each will be presented in 10-count boxes.

The Space Pack included another blend, Arlequin which is being released in the U.S. market in September.

“It’s fascinating to me how our international markets reacted to Sorella vs Arlequin. In every country outside of the US where I would have a tasting, Sorella took the center stage. For this reason, we decided to make Sorella an exclusive blend to our international partners,” said founder Omar de Frias in a press release.

The cigars are scheduled to ship in September 2020.
