JR Cigar has announced a new exclusive offering from the Romeo y Julieta brand known as the Devoción.
According to JR Cigar, “Devoción is the Spanish word for devotion and it was the devotion of not just the cigar industry employees, but also our loyal customers and the cigar community at large that inspired the name and the blend.”
The blend of the Romeo y Julieta Devoción features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a U.S. grown binder, and fillers that include Dominican Pilotico and Honduran tobaccos. Production is handled out of the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras. It’s available in four sizes: Robusto, Toro, Belicoso, and Magnum – each presented in 20-count boxes.
“It is an honor and a privilege to collaborate with the Grupo de Maestros and the team at Flor de Copan on this project. This amazing blend for Romeo y Julieta Devocion combines perfectly aged Dominican Pilotico and Honduran tobaccos to produce a rich and complex cigar,” commented Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Altadis USA, about the project. “The result of the devotion of this team of experts throughout the entire process, from seed to shelf, is one of the best cigars available anywhere in the world.”
This is the second Romeo y Julieta line released exclusively for JR Cigar in 2020. Earlier this year, JR Cigar was the recipient of the Romeo y Julieta Pasión.
The Romeo y Julieta Devoción will also be distributed nationally through Santa Clara Cigars.
