Davidoff’s Black Band line is getting its own limited edition cigar. Today, Davidoff announced it will release a limited edition cigar that incorporates tobaccos for the Black Band Collection lines of Davidoff Nicaragua, Davidoff Escurio, and Davidoff Yamasá. The cigars are slated to be released to Davidoff Appointed Merchants and Flagship Stores on May 5, 2022.

A press release says of the blending of the Davidoff Black Band Limited Edition 2012, “The result is a diverse blend combining the sweetness of Davidoff Escurio, the intensity of Davidoff Nicaragua and the complexity of Davidoff Yamasá.”

The blend features an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Brazilian binder, and a combination of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian fillers. The cigar comes in one size – a 5 1/2 x 58 Gran Toro. Davidoff says the larger ring gauge allowed for more filler tobaccos to be incorporated into the blend. The cigars are presented in 12-count boxes with a total production of 13,500 boxes worldwide.

The packaging features a blend trio logo representing the colors of Davidoff Nicaragua, Davidoff Escurio, and Davidoff Yamasá.

In addition to the Davidoff Black Band Limited Edition 2022, Davidoff is releasing a contemporary sliding ashtray in two color variations.
