Freud Cigar Company has announced it will release a new limited edition cigar called the Agape Limited Edition. The cigar will be produced at Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera, the new factory owned by Eladio Diaz. The cigars are expected to start shipping after the PCA Trade Show. An initial announcement of the Agape Limited Edition was made to Cigar Aficionado.

Freud Cigar Company is a new company started by Luis Torres and David Stadnyk. The name Agape comes from Freud’s parent company name Agape Lifestyle Inc. Of course Freud pays homage to Dr. Sigmund Freud, the Austrian Doctor who is the father of psychoanalysis and a renowned cigar smoker. Freud Cigar Company has not officially started selling in the market, but in addition to the Agape Limited Edition, Freud is launching a core line called Superego (being produced at Tabacalera William Ventura).

The cigar itself is a Dominican puro in a size and blend that is to be announced. The cigars will be presented in ten-count boxes with a total production of 3,500 boxes.
